Please read these terms carefully before placing an order with Roll Work

1 About Us

Roll Work is a trading name of James Davie Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. We sell personalised wrapping paper through our website at rollwork.co.uk.

When we refer to “we”, “us”, or “our” in these terms, we mean James Davie Limited. When we refer to “you” or “your”, we mean you, the customer.

2 These Terms

These terms and conditions apply to all orders you place with us. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.

We may update these terms from time to time, so please check this page before placing each order.

3 Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to buy our products. We will send you an order confirmation email, but this does not mean we have accepted your order.

A contract between us is only formed when we dispatch your order and send you a dispatch confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including if a product is incorrectly priced or unavailable.

4 Personalised Products

All Roll Work products are made to order with your personalised text (names, messages, dates, etc.).

Please check your personalisation carefully before placing your order. We print exactly what you submit, so please ensure spelling, capitalisation, and punctuation are correct. We cannot be held responsible for errors in the personalisation text that you have provided.

We reserve the right to refuse to print any content that we consider inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, or potentially infringing on third-party rights.

5 Pricing and Payment

All prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

We accept payment by credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is taken at the time you place your order.

While we make every effort to ensure prices are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error, we will contact you before processing your order and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel.

6 Delivery

We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom using Royal Mail tracked services. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to postal service delays, severe weather, or national emergencies.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date.

7 Cancellations and Returns

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.

Important: This right does not apply to personalised or custom-made products. Because all Roll Work products are made to order with your personalisation, they are exempt from the standard cancellation rights.

Once your order has been placed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, and we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

If you need to cancel an order before production has begun, please contact us immediately. We may, at our discretion, be able to cancel the order, but this is not guaranteed.

8 Faulty or Damaged Products

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms.

If your product arrives faulty, damaged, or does not match what you ordered (for example, we made a printing error), please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We will ask you to provide photographic evidence of the fault.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or full refund at our discretion.

Please note that minor variations in colour between your screen display and the printed product are inherent to the printing process and do not constitute a fault.

9 Intellectual Property

All designs, images, text, and other content on our website are owned by or licensed to Roll Work and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our designs for any commercial purpose without our written permission.

By submitting personalisation text, you confirm that you have the right to use that content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your personalisation content.

10 Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your order shall not exceed the total amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, or data.

11 Your Personal Data

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. By placing an order, you consent to such processing.

12 Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also have additional rights under the law of your country of residence.
